The Sharks are ready to invest! These self-made Millionaires are putting up their own money to invest in ideas and products started by people who make it into the shark tank. If the sharks see an idea they like, they’ll fight each other for a stake in the business. For example, people may ask for 140 grand, in exchange for 20% of their company/product. The company includes the patent. The sharks will then haggle and make offers. If they see no profit in the business, or feel that it is not a good idea, they will say “I’m out”. If all 5 sharks are “out” then the contestants lose their chance to make
money/more sales.
